POSTIMET E REJA

These are the 10 most common questions about fasting

We live in a multicultural society. Muslims during fasting face many questions from their non-Muslim friends. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions.
1. Why does he fast?

“Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam. This can very easily be explained this way. In the metaphorical sense, fasting is ‘forced poverty’, intended to establish equality between people by refusing food, drink and bodily pleasure. ”
2. Even water is not drunk during fasting? What about coffee? You can’t even use cigarettes and chewing gum?
“Po, nuk pihet as ujë, as kafe.
A është kjo e lehtë, vlerësojeni vetë.
“Yes, Syfiri is eaten at night. In Syfir one should not consume multiple rations, rather you should make smart choices of what you consume while avoiding the volume of food. Give me a modest example of a fast and high-calorie Syfir: wholemeal bread, cheese, bananas, dates, almonds, water, yogurt, eggs, fruit, honey… Do not consume too much coffee, tea, salty foods and “Fried in order to make it easier for them to spend the next day!”

5. What do you consume in Iftar and do you get friends?
“Everything is consumed for Iftar, there are no restrictions. Friends are certainly welcome while the value of preparing Iftar by the one who offers Iftar is very high. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever prepares Iftar for a fasting person will have the same reward as the fasting person, and his reward will not be reduced for the fasting person.’
6. Are the rules of fasting the same everywhere? Do all Muslims fast in the same way and why is it fasted at different times every year?
“Certainly since Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam and an obligation of every Muslim, therefore the rules are the same everywhere and unchanged. He fasts in different periods of time because the month of Ramadan moves 10 days ahead due to the lunar calendar.
7. Who should I fast?
-Musliman
-of adulthood
-reasonable
-healthy
-The person who does not travel
-wife when she is not in the menstrual cycle
8. Who has the right not to fast?
-Sick
-travel
– The elderly who are not able to fast (for every day lost, a poor person must be fed)
– The sick, whose recovery is not expected or has the status of an elderly person who is unable to fast
-pregnant women and breastfeeding women

9. Are the poor helped during Ramadan and how?
“Yes. Sadekatu’l-Fitr is a material obligation by which Islam encourages Muslims to take care of the poor. “Every Muslim at the end of Ramadan is obliged to distribute (approximately 3 kg) food to distribute to the poor, so that even after a month of fasting together with the rich, they can rejoice during the feast of Eid.”
10. Is it easy to return to normal life or could it happen to overeat to make up for lost time?
“Returning to normal life is not a problem as it is consumed enough. Nothing is lost because everything is compensated between Iftar and Syfir. But the only problem is that in front of you is the feast of Eid. Of course you have to be careful not to overdo it with baklava. This certainly applies when you are in a normal life.
